Kutta condition, starting vortex. Method of singularities and thin airfoil theory. Elements of panel method. Experimental characteristics of airfoils. Momentum and blade elements of theory of propellers. Incompressible flow past finite wings. Wing nomenclature. Prandtl’s lifting line theory. Induced drag. Effect of geometrical parameter on lift and induced drag. Element of lifting surface theory. Flow past swept and delta wings. Elements of flow past bodies in incompressible flow. Lift, drag and moment characteristics of the entire airplane.
